🔥Month 1

Let’s start planning or strategy for the first month of your journey .

In the first months you need to focus on only reading. It means you can read every article which includes the upsc exam.

If you read all the articles about the upsc exam you will get knowledge about the UPSC.

In beginning I did the same..

After doing this ,you can focus on newspaper reading because newspaper reading is one of the most important Factors in upsc exam preparation.

You need to pick one newspaper like India Express or the hindu. ( I use the Hindu).

I generally suggest always reading the hindu because it is very best in this journey.

But if you are weak in English you can go with India Express.

Current affairs is one of the important things in the whole ias preparation journey.

In this one month period, you can read and remember the upsc syllabus.

🔥2 to 5 month

In this 2 to 5 month period you can do only three things

🤔NCERT reading

🤔general study resource

🤔newspapers reading

In this 3 month periods , you should focus on these three things .

First we discuss ncert reading, NCERT is a very important book resource for upsc ias preparation.

Every upsc expects suggestions and advice to their students to read NCERT.

Because NCERT is the base of all higher knowledge in UPSC.

If you read in a ncert book three times you get almost good amounts of knowledge about all basic concepts.

As beginners, start from 6class to 12 class all ncert books.

For NCERT books ,you can purchase them on Amazon or Flipkart.

In this 2 to 5 month period, you need to read basic books of general studies that help you to boost your knowledge .

Hence read all basic books of general studies.

3rd don’t forget to read new on a daily basis .Newspapers reading is a very important part of the whole 1 year upsc preparation.

🔥6 to 8 month

In this 6 to 8 month period, this period is very crucial for ias preparation.

If you are successful with hard work in this period you can easily clear the upsc exam .

In this Period, you need to decide your optional subjects (mine is sociology).

This time is good for attending or joining prelim tests series.

🔥9 to 12 month

This is the last phase of your preparation

In this period of time you need to only focus on the answer writing.

Because answer writing is art, if you practice answer writing more and more you should gain more score in ias main exam.

In this period newspapers paper reading is playing a crucial role to write quality answers in mains.

I think you should focus on the editorial page of any newspaper in which you have read the hindu or indian Express. You have to find some good articles with a good opinion.

This will help you to generate your own opinion on particular topics that help you in mains and Interview exam time .

Read the important magazines like yojan, PIB notes and Kurukshetra and other niches.

Alway focus on the government report…

What after mains

After completing the main exam. If you succeed to clear upsc mains then you know you face upsc personality test.

Then,you should focus on interview skills and develop it very fast.
